THE NEW HUDSON STORY
Longtime Michigan restaurateur Peter Ginopolis is carry on the legacy as the New Hudson location franchisee who brings decades of restaurant experience to the carry out. For the Ginopolis' it all started in 1967, when Peter and his brother John, along with their father George purchased Capraro's restaurant in Redford Township. The brothers later purchased Oba's Bar in Farmington Hills in 1979 and built Ginopolis' there at the corner of Middlebelt and Twelve Mile Rd., opening it in 1982 and operating that for nearly four decades. Later in 2019, Ginopolis’ Bar-BQ & Speakeasy opened in Brighton with Peter, his wife, Melissa and their son Nicholas running the operation
... and now they have opened Gus's Carry Out in New Hudson, Michigan along with longtime restaurateur and friend, Elia Nicholas, owner of the Highland House, Tomato Brothers, E.G. NIck's, Smoke Street BBQ, Pettibone, and four other regional Gus's Carry Outs.
Our newest location in New Hudson continues the long tradition of serving quality food using only the the freshest ingredients and providing the highest standards of service since the mid-1980's. We are famous for our fresh hand-rolled breadsticks, Greek Salads and mouthwatering pizzas, but we also offer a variety of other salads, rib and chicken dinners, pasta choices, and other delicious products from our kitchen.
